HISTORY:
The Natchez Railway was formed in 2009 by V&S Railway, LLC to acquire the railroad between Brookhaven and Natchez, MS from Canadian National RR. Also included in the sale was the former Missouri Pacific (Natchez & Southern) trackage in Natchez to the International Paper Co. mill site that was bought by IC from Mopac when they abandoned ferry service from Vidalia in 1982. |
