HISTORY:
The Luxapalila Valley Railroad was formed in 1996 to acquire the rail line from Columbus, MS to Belk, AL from Norfolk Southern RR. It was owned by the Columbus & Greenville Ry. In June 2008 Genesee & Wyoming acquired ownership of the Luxapalila Valley RR along with the Columbus & Greenville RR. |
