Mayerhoff
Brothers was a partnership composed of C. E. and G. E. Mayerhoff, of
Meridian. In January 1899 C. E. Mayerhoff bought a gin and mill house at
Arundel, just south of Meridian, and somewhat later built a sawmill at that
place which had a cutting capacity of 20,000 feet per day.
