HISTORY by Tony Howe: 

Fenwick was established as a station on the Mississippi Central Railroad by 1908 and was named for Fenwick Peck, president of the railroad.

W. W. Freeze- pine lumber mill cutting 8,000 ft/day listed on Freight Circular No 21-L List of Sawmills and Planing Mills on Mississippi Central RR Nov. 1, 1919.
